Reiser Simulation and Training have secured approval for its H145D3 XR simulator from the German Federal Aviation Office (Luftfahrt-Bundesamt, LBA) under European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) standards. The mixed-reality simulator, which gained pre-qualification status EUROPEAN ROTORS 2025, has now been certified as a Flight Training Device Level 3 (FTD-3). The final evaluation was conducted last week at REISER’s facility, where LBA officials confirmed compliance with all requirements with zero findings.
The H145 D3 XR Simulator is the first to combine mixed-reality visuals with a fully haptic cockpit and roll-on/roll-off modular technology. In addition, Reiser has been authorised by the German Federal Aviation Office to conduct the full qualification process for its simulators in-house under direct regulatory oversight. This allows Full-Flight Simulators and Flight Training Devices to be delivered as fully EASA-qualified devices, requiring only minimal final verification after installation.
“Achieving full certification of our H145 D3 XR Simulator is a proud moment for the entire REISER team,” said Martin Keil, Chief Technology Officer at Reiser Simulation and Training. “We are especially pleased to deliver a mixed-reality training device that is fully certified right out of the factory. With in-house qualification, our customers can start training almost immediately after delivery.”
