During FIDAE 2026 in Santiago, Bell has announced that the 505 has posted record orders in Latin America in 2025. While the company has remained tight lipped about the the number of sales completed it did reveal that 156 examples of the light single are in operation in the region a number that is around 20% of the nearly 600 505s delivered so far.
Operators in the the Southern Cone, the part of South America south of the Tropic of Capricorn roughly including Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, but also Paraguay and the southern part of Brazil, has a particular appetite for the 505 with more in operation there than any other area in Latin America.
