World Star Aviation has delivered a second Boeing 737-400SF aircraft to Philippines-based Skyway Airlines.
The regional carrier will use the converted aircraft to support its expansion across the Asia Pacific region.
André Abreu, vice president marketing & sales, World Star Aviation, said: “This second delivery reflects the strong relationship WSA has built with Skyway Airlines since its debut as a cargo airline.
“We are grateful for Skyway’s continued trust in our team and proud to support the airline’s growth with cost-effective freighter solutions. We look forward to continuing this successful partnership in the years ahead.”
“It is with great excitement that we welcome our third aircraft, the second one from WSA,” added José Peralta, chief executive at Skyway Airlines.
“This addition will further enhance Skyway’s network within the Asia-Pacific region. We are grateful to WSA for their professionalism and dedication in delivering this aircraft.”
Skyway offers charter and express flights for general cargo, specialised cargo, and dangerous goods.
The airline’s network includes Clark International Airport in the Philippines, Hong Kong, Manila, Mactan–Cebu, Francisco Bangoy/Davao, and Laguindingan.
In March last year, Skyway launched freighter operations to Hong Kong with Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl) providing handling services.
According to Planespotters, as well as the two converted 737-400SF from World Star, delivered in June 2024 and October 2025, World Star is also due to take delivery of a third converted 747-400 freighter.
