Bell Textron has expanded its Australian component repair and overhaul facility in Brisbane, one of 12 company owned customer service centres globally, adding a capability to service and repair hydraulic components making it the first of the company’s facilities in the Asia Pacific region offer the service. The facility shop now offers a full suite of hydraulic services, including inspection, testing, repair, and overhaul of individual components and assemblies for Bell aircraft.
The facility itself has undergone a significant expansion growing from a 50 sqm workshop to a 800 sqm standalone facility complete with non destructive testing (NDT) capability and in the process

These enhancements are part of our broader vision to build a comprehensive aftermarket support ecosystem that meets the evolving needs of our customers today and well into the future.”
Bell Australia been looking at ways to improve spares support and now has a dedicated CRO logistics team focused on streamlining freight forwarding and improving spares management to strengthen demand forecasting and optimise inventory.
