Bird strikes, powerplant failures, and collisions were among the most commonly cited occurrences for business aircraft accidents and incidents from April through June 2026, according to the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA).
NBAA’s analysis of business aviation accidents and incidents for the three-month period, published Tuesday, examined 66 reportable events. Based on the data, the group listed wildlife-hazard awareness, proactive maintenance, thorough inspections, and effective procedures as key safety measures that pilots of business aircraft should prioritize.
