The Helicopter Company (THC), Saudi Arabia’s leading commercial helicopter operator, has signed a partnership agreement with webook.com that will make its helicopter sightseeing tours available to book online.
The availability of the tours on webook.com’s website and app will expand THC’s sales channels beyond its existing B2B offering and into the B2C market.
The collaboration supports the broader strategy of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) to enable the growth of tourism as a key sector by expanding access to distinctive experiences and enhancing the way they are delivered to residents and visitors.
For THC, the partnership opens a new consumer market while reinforcing its role in the continued development of the Kingdom’s tourism sector.
Commenting on the agreement, Captain Arnaud Martinez, CEO at THC, said: “We are excited to partner with webook.com, marking another step in the continued expansion of THC’s services to meet the evolving needs of our customers. By bringing our helicopter tours onto one of the Kingdom’s leading digital platforms, we are making it easier for more people to discover Saudi Arabia from above. THC is proud to support the growth of tourism and showcase the beauty and diversity of the Kingdom from a new perspective. This partnership reflects our continued commitment to delivering safe, world-class flight experiences, now made even easier to access and book.”
Under the agreement, THC will continue to provide and operate helicopter sightseeing tours and experiences, while webook.com will promote and sell tickets through its platform and provide all necessary digital services required to support this.
Nadeem Bakhsh, Chief Executive Officer of webook.com, said: “The tourism and experience economy in Saudi Arabia is growing fast, and so is the appetite for new ways to experience the Kingdom. With THC, a flight over Riyadh is now booked the same way as a music concert or a football match, on a platform built in Saudi and used by millions around the world. That’s the role webook.com plays in the Kingdom’s experience economy: making every fun moment easy to discover and book.”
