Angelo Precision Aircraft is seeking a highly experienced Senior A&P Mechanic with Inspection Authorization (IA) to join our team and serve as a lead diagnostic technician supporting our expanding maintenance and avionics operations.
This position is ideal for a seasoned technician who enjoys troubleshooting complex aircraft issues, developing repair plans, and performing high-quality maintenance work across a diverse fleet. The role also provides the opportunity to step into increased responsibility as our company owner transitions toward more office-focused leadership.
We are a stable, family-owned FAA Part 145 Repair Station with a strong reputation for quality workmanship and long-term customer relationships. Our maintenance facility supports both piston and turbine aircraft and works closely with our growing avionics department.

Our shop maintains a diverse fleet including:
Cessna (150–208 Caravan)
Beechcraft (Bonanza, Baron, King Air)
Piper aircraft
Robinson Helicopters
General aviation piston and turbine aircraft
Work ranges from routine inspections to advanced troubleshooting, structural repairs, and complex maintenance projects.
Diagnose aircraft discrepancies and develop repair plans
Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with FAA regulations
Utilize IA authority for approvals and return to service
Troubleshoot complex mechanical and system issues
Support maintenance planning and workflow efficiency
Mentor junior technicians as needed
Coordinate with avionics department and office staff
Maintain high standards of safety, documentation, and workmanship
FAA Airframe & Powerplant Certificate (Required)
Inspection Authorization (IA) (Required or ability to obtain soon)
Minimum 7–10 years general aviation maintenance experience
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic ability
Experience with turbine aircraft (King Air / Caravan preferred)
Robinson Helicopter experience a plus but not required
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
