Air Dolomiti has taken delivery of a second Embraer E195 transferred from Austrian Airlines, continuing a fleet shift within the Lufthansa Group that concentrates E-Jet operations at the Italian carrier. The aircraft, registered I-ENJB, follows the arrival of I-ENJA at the end of last year.
The addition brings Air Dolomiti’s E195 fleet to 28 aircraft. The group also operates Embraer E190s, with the regional fleet totaling 43 E-Jets, including 34 E195s and nine E190s.
Air Dolomiti has increasingly become the main operator of the type within the group, with aircraft configured for 122 seats on the E195 and 108 seats on the smaller E190.

The transfer is part of a plan to move Austrian Airlines’ E195 fleet to Air Dolomiti by 2028. Austrian, which once operated 17 E195s, is phasing out the type as it shifts to an all-Airbus narrowbody fleet alongside Boeing 787-9 aircraft for long-haul routes. Fifteen E195s remain in service with the carrier.
Air Dolomiti, in turn, is expanding and standardizing its fleet around the larger E195. The airline plans to introduce a total of 13 aircraft of the type as part of a renewal program running through 2028, gradually replacing its E190s.
Once completed, the fleet is expected to grow to 30 aircraft, increasing capacity while simplifying operations within the Lufthansa Group’s regional network.
