UK airfreight wholesaler Cargonet has promoted Andy Sullivan to commercial director as part of efforts to strengthen its commercial and sales structure.
Sullivan joined Cargonet in 2023 and has since led the development of the company’s external sales function, contributing to business growth and customer development.
In his new role, he will assume full responsibility for regional commercial activities alongside continued leadership of the external sales team.
“He will also play a broader role in the company’s commercial strategy and day-to-day operations,” the company said.
Steve Landy, managing director at Cargonet, said: “Andy has made a strong impact since joining the business and this promotion reflects both his contribution and our ongoing focus on strengthening our commercial capabilities.”
Sullivan added: “I’m very proud to take on this role at an important time for the business. I look forward to continuing to develop our offering and support to our customers.”
Cargonet said the appointment forms part of its wider focus on growth in the airfreight sector.
