Simulator manufacturer entrol has launched entrol Zero, a sustainability initiative, following the company’s achievement of the Calculo, Reduzco, Compenso (Calculate, Reduce, Compensate) triple seal from the Spanish Climate Change Office (OECC).
With the initiative, entrol has neutralised its carbon footprint, building upon a consistent downward trend in carbon emissions over the last few years, and the financing of certified CO2 absorption projects in Spain.
“With entrol zero, we are proving that high-tech manufacturing and environmental responsibility are not only compatible but inseparable,” said Luis Olarte, CEO of entrol. “We understand that the aviation industry is under immense pressure to decarbonize. Reaching climate neutrality is our way of telling our clients that they can train the next generation of pilots without compromising the environment. Every flight hour logged in an entrol device is now backed by a government-verified zero-emission philosophy.”
