German operator HTM has formed a collaboration with Moove, an aviation SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) provider, to create a digital booking and scheduling platform for helicopter operations.
The platform allows HTM’s teams to plan rotations across multiple aircraft in line with availability, flight duration, and crew coordination. For example, the system can place compatible passengers together to optimise the use of each aircraft.
“In helicopter operations, offering a seamless booking experience expands market footprint” said Jakob Meyer-Bender, Director Business Development at HTM. “With Moove, we are able to sell flights in one click while digitising flight execution, giving our team a clear operational picture and seamless interaction with demanding clients.”
The system will be pivotal in HTM’s expansion into VIP charter services, such as point-to-point corporate travel or shuttle flights for high-profile events.
“Helicopter operates under very different constraints from fixed-wing aviation, where booking and distribution digitisation is a major game changer”, commented Arthur Ingles, CEO and Co-Founder of Moove. “We are proud to push forward innovation together.”
“Our software focuses also on streamlining operations” added Antoine Awaida, CTO and Co-Founder of Moove. “For helicopter operators, it means faster trip creation, an improved rotation planning and better coordination between flight crews, dispatch and passengers.”
