    New AC-to-DC Converters Designed For Business And Commercial Aircraft

    True Blue Power today introduced the company’s modular TC800 Series converters during the New Product Introduction session at the Aircraft Electronics Association (AEA) International Convention and Trade Show in Dallas.

    The new AC-to-DC converters are designed for business and commercial aircraft, VIP cabin configurations, and special mission applications. Units convert 3-phase 115 VAC (360–800 Hz) into a 28 VDC output for IFE systems, USB chargers, avionics, and other equipment. When equipped with the TC800 Series Hold-up Module, units provide continuous power during input voltage dropouts, up to 300 milliseconds.

    The TC800 Series AC-to-DC Converters are available in 4 unique configurations and part numbers. True Blue Power TC800 Series AC-to-DC converters will be on display in booth 501 at the Aircraft Electronics Association (AEA) International Convention and Trade Show March 24–25.
