Turkish Airlines has launched regular operations to London Stansted Airport, becoming the third airport in the UK capital served by the carrier alongside Heathrow and Gatwick.
The new route from Istanbul will be operated with 15 weekly frequencies, further strengthening the airline’s presence in the UK market and expanding connectivity options for passengers traveling via its hub.
With the addition of Stansted, Turkish Airlines now serves six destinations in the UK: London Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted, as well as Birmingham, Manchester and Edinburgh.

Including nearby operations such as Dublin, the airline will offer a total of 168 weekly flights across the UK and Ireland during the upcoming summer season.
The move increases capacity in one of the airline’s key European markets, where it has continued to expand both point-to-point and connecting traffic flows through Istanbul.
A launch ceremony was held at Stansted Airport with representatives from both the airline and the airport operator, highlighting the role of the new service in broadening access to Turkish Airlines’ global network.
Turkish Airlines said the addition of Stansted is aimed at improving access to its network, which spans more than 350 destinations worldwide, while also addressing demand from both business and leisure travelers in the London region.
