All Nippon Airways (ANA) has revealed its latest investments in inflight amenities. Japan’s largest airline is introducing new sleepwear in first class, and designer amenity kits in first class and business class.
From April, first-class customers on all ANA international routes will receive Bakune ‘recovery wear’ designed by Tential, a Japanese company that specialises in garments that promote fatigue recovery and performance improvements.
For ANA the two-piece set of trousers and long-sleeved shirt are designed to reduce physical strain and support recovery during long flights. Passengers can also feel the benefits at home or their travel destination if they take the items with them.
ANA previously offered Bakune clothing on select international first-class flights in July 2025. Following what the airline says was “highly positive feedback” and numerous requests from passengers, ANA has decided to introduce the recovery wear year-round across its entire international first-class network.
The Bakune long-sleeved top and pants, in navy blue with ANA branding, are made from a material with high sweat absorption and quick-drying properties, to prevent discomfort from perspiration. The material has a light and soft touch, and is stretchy for ease of movement.
The Bakune recovery wear is the latest in ANA’s investments in first class. You can read the views of Katsunori Maki, ANA’s director of cabin products & services planning, on everything from the first-class market, to issues in the interiors sector, to plans for the B777-9 in this interview.

Designer amenity kits
Also beginning in April, ANA will introduce new amenity kits for first class and business-class customers on international long-haul routes and select medium-haul routes. The kits have been created in a new partnership with Franzi, an Italian heritage luxury leather goods brand, and luxury skincare providers Decorté and Culti Milano.
The elegant amenity pouches are crafted from recycled polyester (R-PET), blending 160 years of Italian craftsmanship with modern sustainability. The exclusive designs will rotate seasonally.

The kits in first class will feature products from Decorté, the prestigious Japanese beauty brand. The Decorté skincare items include AQ Absolute Treatment Micro-Radiance Emulsion II (35 ml), AQ Absolute Treatment Hydrating Lotion II (35 ml), and Liposome Advanced Repair Serum (12 ml).
In business class, passengers will receive products from Culti Milano, an Italian fragrance brand. The kits will include Culti Milano skincare items such as a Tessuto lip balm (4.25 g) and Tessuto hand & body lotion (10 ml).
These collaborations mark the first in-flight amenity kit partnerships for both Decorté and Culti Milano.
ANA has strived to minimise the use of plastic packaging in the kits, with each kit including a reusable and environmentally friendly bag for continued use after landing. Additional items in the kits include handkerchiefs, a toothbrush with cap, eye mask, earplugs, and travel adaptor.
