Register here for the May Public Safety Drone Review.
The next Public Safety Drone Review will take place at 3pm EST on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, bringing together public safety professionals for a live discussion on current news, operational insights, and new technology in the field. This month’s session will feature guest Blake Resnick, founder and CEO of BRINC Drones, who will discuss the company’s new Guardian drone and what it means for Drone as First Responder (DFR) programs.
The Public Safety Drone Review is a monthly collaboration between DRONELIFE and DRONERESPONDERS. The series is hosted by Charles Werner, Mike O’Shea, and DRONELIFE Editor Miriam McNabb.
Each session offers a live, interactive format where attendees can hear directly from public safety leaders and industry experts, with opportunities to ask questions and engage in discussion.
Featuring Blake Resnick and the Guardian Drone
During the May session, Resnick will share insights into BRINC’s Guardian drone, a new platform designed to support rapid response to emergency calls. With a flight endurance of more than 60 minutes, a speed of 60 mph, and Starlink on board, the Guardian raises the bar on functionality for police drones. The discussion will focus on how new capabilities may support DFR operations and what agencies should consider when evaluating next-generation systems.

Founded to develop purpose-built tools for public safety, BRINC Drones has focused on systems designed for emergency response, de-escalation, and indoor operations. Under Resnick’s leadership, the company has worked closely with law enforcement agencies to develop technology aligned with real-world mission needs, with an emphasis on reliability, connectivity, and rapid deployment.
The conversation will also explore how new drone platforms fit into evolving public safety workflows, including integration with dispatch systems and real-time operational environments.
A Monthly Forum for Public Safety Drone Programs
The Public Safety Drone Review series is free to the public and provides a consistent forum for sharing knowledge across the public safety community. Topics range from program management and policy to new technologies and real-world deployments.
As drone programs continue to expand, these discussions offer practical insight into how agencies are using drones today and how those operations may evolve.
The May session continues that conversation with a focus on new technology and its role in supporting public safety missions.
