
Bell have not revealed the type composition of the 20 aircraft delivered in the first quarter but the it would seem the light singles were the lion’s share.
There is a mixed of bag of numbers to digest concerning Bell according to Textron’s results for the the first Quarter of 2026. Bell revenues were USD 1.1 billion, up 9%, or $87 million compared with the first quarter of 2025. The revenue increase comes primarily from the company’s military programmes which contributed USD161m and much of that was derived from higher activity on the MV-75 Cheyenne tilt rotor, though revenue growth was offset by reduced spending and activity volume on the V-22 Osprey production. Bell also saw greater revenues from military support programmes.
In the commercial helicopter arena revenues including parts and service support fell by USD74m compared with the same period in 2025 , due said the company to lower volumes as well as the product mix of aircraft delivered, the company delivered 20 helicopters in Q1 2026 versus 29 in 2024.
Cumulatively, Bell saw a decline in profit for the quarter posting earnings of USD72m USD18m lower than in 2026. On 31 March the company’s order backlog was valued at USD7.6 bn, slightly up on the 2025 year end value of USD7.5 bn.
