Miami-based cargo airline 7Air has appointed Iraq Pacheco as interim chief executive and interim chief financial officer.
7Air announced the appointment in a LinkedIn post on 28 May. Amasvido Rodriguez was previously chief executive.
“In these roles, Iraq will lead the company’s strategic direction, operational performance, and financial oversight as we continue advancing our growth objectives,” said the airline.
Pacheco’s LinkedIn profile shows that he previously undertook chief financial officer roles at Miami Air International and World Atlantic Airlines.
In March, 7Air promoted Juan Nunez to accountable executive and chief operating officer. Nunez was previously director of flight operations for 7Air since October 2023.
7Air received certification from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in February last year.
The airline currently has four Boeing 737-800 passenger to freighter (P2F) conversions, specifically 737-800SFs, each with a capacity of up to 22,000 kgs with 6,380 cu ft of cargo space.
It is also in the process of adding a Boeing 767 freighter to its fleet.
The FAA Part 121 certified carrier’s services include ACMI, scheduled, charter and ad-hoc. It operates in the US, Central America and the Caribbean.
