Avincis have announced orders for up to 30 aircraft from Airbus and Leonardo. The orders for five AW139s, 10 AW169s and up to 15 H145s are intended to bolster the company’s existing operations as well as fleet expansion.
Avincis says that the acquisitions will
range of services from search and rescue, helicopter emergency medical services and medevac to offshore energy support.

As a result of the these orders Avincis will have 55 H145s, while it’s combined Leonardo fleet will be just shy of 100 when all the deliveries have been completed.
Three of the new AW169s are already earmarked to support the combined contract the company has recently been awarded in Sweden which will see the company providing HEMS support for the Uppsala and Västra Götalandsregionen regions. This marks the first-ever joint HEMS tender between the Swedish regions and the largest HEMS contract in Sweden by value. This 10-year contract calls for each region to have a dedicated aircraft with the third, available as a mobile reserve. Although the combined contract is a first it follows on from the individual contracts the company has had with two regions dating back 24 years in Uppsala and to 2018 in Västra Götalandsregionen.
Deliveries of the orders are expected to begin in 2028 with the final aircraft joining the fleet in 2031.
