WholeShip’s National Drone Hub in Cornwall has been selected by the UK Civil Aviation Authority to participate in the Light UAS Certificate (LUC) trial.
The LUC trial grants privileges based on organisational competence rather than requiring case-by-case approvals by the CAA.
Last year, WholeShip’s National Drone Hub was chosen by the CAA as the UK’s first accredited test and evaluation site for drones.
To date, the CAA is believed to have selected nine companies for the LUC trial.
