Fuji Dream Airlines has ordered two E175 regional jets, Embraer announced on Tuesday at the Farnborough International Airshow.
The order, already included in Embraer’s backlog, is the airline’s first since taking delivery of its last E175 in 2019. The new aircraft will seat 84 passengers in a single-class configuration, with deliveries scheduled for 2027 and 2028.
“The introduction of these new aircraft will enhance our capacity and help further strengthen our network connecting communities across Japan,” Fuji Dream Airlines President Shunsuke Honda said.
The airline operates an all-Embraer fleet of 15 E-Jets, comprising two E170s and 13 E175s.

The order is Embraer’s first commercial aircraft announcement at this year’s Farnborough Airshow and comes for the E175, the manufacturer’s most popular regional jet. The E2 family has yet to secure a commercial order at the event.
Fuji Dream Airlines is one of two Japanese airlines operating E-Jets. Japan Airlines also flies the aircraft, while rival All Nippon Airways (ANA) is expected to become the country’s first E190-E2 operator.
