Reuters news agency says BAE Systems is among the potential bidders that are in the early stages of exploring an offer for Robin Radar Systems. CVC, Blackstone, Advent and EQT are also exploring making an offer for the drone detection company, Reuters said, citing various people familiar with the matter.
Two of those people told Reuters that Robin Radar’s owner, Dutch investment firm Parcom, is working with JPMorgan to launch a sale process later this year that could value the Delft-based group at about EUR 2 billion.
Robin Radar recently expanded its US operations and opened a new primary hub in Delft, tripling its capacity.
