The wealthy are increasingly choosing to live full-time at sea, making superyachts more like private homes than ever before. In response, design studios, such as Nuvolari Lenard, are focusing on creating deeply personal floating sanctuaries.
The Italian studio just unveiled a new concept that can be shaped to the future owner. Developed in partnership with Florida-based brokerage Moran Yacht & Ship, Project White Arrow is a fully considered design, but clients can tweak architecture, interiors, and features to their liking.
“Project White Arrow reflects this changing “sentiment,” exploring how scale, architecture and design can create an environment that feels both exceptional and deeply liveable,” says Carlo Nuvolari. “A yacht of this scale gives you an extraordinary opportunity, but also a responsibility: to create something that feels coherent, effortless and ultimately human.”

With owners and their families spending long stints on the water, sometimes several months at a time, space on a yacht is of the utmost importance. Measuring 380 feet from sleek vertical bow to sculpted stern, White Arrow offers generous living quarters and cabins for 18 guests and 39 crew. It could, then, also accommodate extended family or friends.
With a long foredeck and cascading aft decks, the yacht cuts a distinctive silhouette. Expansive glazing connects the interior to the exterior and also adds a modern aesthetic. The aft deck is a clear standout, with a glass-fronted swimming pool sprawling out above a beach club and swim platform. Other exterior highlights include a winter garden, a working firepit, and a full-size pickleball court.

With a beam of just under 17 feet and an interior volume of 5,200 GT, White Arrow is outfitted with nine staterooms in total. The owner has their own entire deck, complete with a plush private lounge. Elsewhere indoors is a spa with a sauna, a steam room, and two massage rooms, plus a full-beam gym that overlooks the water.
The yacht is envisioned with a hybrid diesel-electric propulsion system, enabling long-range cruising with less noise and emissions than conventional all-diesel setups. A helipad, four tenders, and water toys allow for travel well beyond the usual anchorages.
All of this is simply the starting point, though, as the owner is invited to put their own unique spin on the yacht just as if they were designing a home on land.
