Irish rental company M.R. Concrete has taken delivery of a 400 tonne LTM1400-6.1 All Terrain crane, the first of its kind in the country and its new flagship.
Launched in mid 2024, the six axle LTM 1400-6.1 replaced the 350 tonne LTM 1350-6.1 and offers a six section 70 metre main boom with Y-Guy Superlift, along with numerous lattice extensions and jib options, including a 45.5 metre luffing extension for a maximum tip height of around 120 metres and an 80.5 metre luffing jib for up to 140 metres. The unit follows on from a 60 tonne LTM1060-3.1 delivered in February.

Based in Ballyannon, in the North of Ireland, with depots in Dublin, Donegal and Belfast, the company operates predominantly within the reinforced concrete substructure and superstructure work as well as equipment rental.
It runs a fleet of all Liebherr cranes, including three 60 tonners, a 100 tonner, a 150 tonner, a 230 tonner, a 300 tonner, and a 100 tonne crawler. It also has a fleet of tower cranes, from manufacturers such as Liebherr, Saez, Terex and Potain.
