Avionics supplier Anodyne Electronics Manufacturing Corp. (AEM) has launched a new narrowband/wideband panel-mount radio called the MTP138 VHF FM, optimised for special-mission platforms. It does not currently hold any STCs.
The system can be used for analogue communication across 138MHz to 174MHz frequency channels, and features a 3.5 inch NVIS-compatible screen, a front-panel USB-C DATA port for loading custom channel and zone profiles, thermal management technology, and field adjustable receiver sensitivity. Additionally, the radio can be converted to a Project 25 digital transceiver as required.
“We’re pleased to bring this modern tactical transceiver to market,” said Tony Weller, Sales and Marketing Director at AEM. “Adding another user-friendly and easy-to-install product to our growing family of radios is a major step for reliable special mission radio technology and in supporting our global customers.”
