Lawmakers are asking the state Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) to reconsider a plan to demolish hangars at the Aeroflex Airport in Andover, New Jersey, which would displace pilots and small businesses.
Already eviction notices have been served that require pilots and businesses to vacate the hangars by Dec. 31. The airport is owned by the DEP and used by the state Forest Fire Service. U.S. Rep. Josh Gottheimer, D-5th Dist., and state Sen. Parker Space, Assemblywoman Dawn Fantasia, and Assemblyman Michael Inganamort, all R-Sussex, have asked DEP officials to pump the brakes… Hangar Flying has upgraded its browser-based Panel Designer with scale-accurate component drawings, customizable finishes, and additional layout options. The changes bring more of the practical realities of cockpit design into the digital planning stage, where small decisions can make a significant difference. The Czech aerobatic team Flying Bulls Aerobatic Team is getting a new name. In the future, the four pilots will perform as Red Bull Aerobatic Team at air shows, sporting events and major international events, according to PragueDaily. The group has a history spanning more than 65 years and is one of the world’s
longest-established civilian-aerobatic formations. The current Red Bull Aerobatic Team formation consists of four Czech pilots: Stanislav Cejka, Jan Tvrdík, Jan Rudzinskyj and Martin Špacek. All this — and MORE in today’s episode of Airborne-Unlimited!!!
