Airbus recorded 204 gross commercial aircraft orders and delivered 67 jets in July, extending the gradual improvement in monthly handovers while remaining below the pace achieved during the same month last year.
The European manufacturer has now delivered 418 aircraft in the first seven months of 2026, compared with 445 during the same period a year earlier. Airbus is targeting 820 deliveries this year, a goal it reaffirmed during its half-year earnings presentation.
Single-aisle aircraft continued to dominate deliveries in July, accounting for 61 of the 67 aircraft handed over. Airbus delivered 37 A321neos, 18 A320neos and six A220-300s. Widebody deliveries included four A350-900s, two A350-1000s and two A330-900s.
Among the month’s notable customers were Emirates, which received two A350-900s, Philippine Airlines and Starlux Airlines, each taking an A350-1000, while Air France added an A330-900 to its fleet.
On the sales side, Airbus secured 204 gross orders during July. The largest transaction came from Chinese lessor SMBC Aviation Capital, which ordered 100 single-aisle aircraft comprising 35 A320neos and 65 A321neos.
Hainan Airlines followed with an order for 40 aircraft, including 27 A320neos and 13 A321neos. China Eastern Airlines ordered 25 A330-900s, while flynas signed for 25 aircraft consisting of 20 A321neos and five A330-900s. Riyadh Air also added six A350-1000s to its orderbook.

The manufacturer also recorded two undisclosed orders totaling eight aircraft.
Airbus registered 66 cancellations during the month, reducing July’s total to 138 net orders. Since the beginning of the year, the company has accumulated 1,024 net orders, including 529 A321neos, 213 A320neos, 167 A220-300s and 51 A330-900s.
At the end of July, Airbus had logged 1,090 gross orders and delivered 418 commercial aircraft in 2026.
