364 days after announcing the H140 programme, which immediately garnered orders from HEMS operators, Airbus Corporate Helicopters has revealed the ACH140 variant this morning at Verticon 2026 in Atlanta. The latest addition to the ACH stable will feature three cabin layout alternatives as standard, 2+6 seats, 2+4 seats with cabinets fore and aft, 2+5 seats with a forward cabinet and finally 2+5 seats with a rear cabinet. Visitors to Verticon will be able to see the variants for themselves with a different layout on display each day.
Airbus says that it will parlay the elements of the H140, “the smoother ride and large cabin volume to deliver an exceptional VIP transport in the CS27/Part 27 light twin category”. Married to the larger cabin, the company says the new interior design – the so called LINE collection, which will be progressively rolled out across the ACH range – “will provide a singular look and enhanced comfort”. While the standard design and options provide a benchmark, customers will still have the option to specify an entirely bespoke cabin solution should they wish.
In addition, and following the success of the Aston Martin Edition ACH130 and Mercedes Benz Edition ACH145, Airbus Corporate Helicopters is exploring interior design partnerships with other luxury products for the ACH140.
Airbus expects the first ACH140s to be delivered during 2029 – with customers in North America, Europe and Brazil expected to be early adopters for the type.
