Taiwanese operator Apex Aviation has taken delivery of an Airbus H145D3 from Rotortrade. The aircraft which is intended for use supporting offshore wind sector is the first D3 to enter service in Taiwan as well as the first aircraft to be dedicated to supporting the country’s wind energy business.
Prior to delivery the aircraft underwent pre-delivery inspection, maintenance, and retrofit works at Rotortrade’s MRO facility in Tallard before transport to Taiwan,

I would also like to personally thank Wilson Kao for his trust and constructive support throughout this project, as well as the wider Apex Aviation team for their cooperation.”
Meanwhile, Wilson Kao, Chief Executive Officer of Apex Aviation, added: “The arrival of the H145D3 marks a defining moment for Apex Aviation and for Taiwan’s offshore wind industry. We chose this aircraft for its proven performance in demanding environments, and it represents our first dedicated step into a sector we are fully committed to building.
