Auterion has introduced the Nemyx Vertical Launch System (Nemyx VLS), a modular launcher designed to deploy drones from multiple manufacturers and across different mission types.
The system uses an electric elevator inside each launch tube to vertically stack drones and move them into launch position. Auterion says this allows Nemyx VLS to accommodate 30% more drones in the same volume than launchers without an elevator.
Nemyx VLS can accommodate 10-inch FPV drones, interceptors and mid-range loitering munitions, with launch tubes configurable in 2×2 or 4×4 arrays or across an ISO container. The system is compatible with drones from Auterion partners including Skyfall, Airlogix, Rheinmetall, DeltaQuad and Griffon Aerospace.
The launcher is connected to Auterion’s Nemyx swarm engine, allowing an Auterion-powered vehicle to designate a target and trigger either a single drone or swarm launch. The company said a human remains responsible for target designation, while the software automates execution following that decision.
Stored drones remain connected to the launcher, which can charge them, keep them in powered standby and install software updates. Nemyx VLS is currently available to first integration partners.
