PARIS — Passengers aboard an Air France flight from Amsterdam to Paris received an unwanted addition to their inflight service on Wednesday when several cockroaches were discovered scurrying through the cabin mid-flight.
Flight AF1341 had departed Amsterdam Airport Schiphol at 11:01 AM local time, bound for Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG). Shortly after reaching cruising altitude, cabin crew notified the flight deck after discovering insects at both the front and rear sections of the passenger cabin.
Upon receiving the report from the crew, the pilots alerted Air France flight operations on the ground to prepare maintenance and pest control teams ahead of their arrival in the French capital.
The aircraft, an Airbus A320 registered as F-HEPC, completed the short hop without further incident, touching down at Paris CDG at 11:48 AM local time, roughly 45 minutes after takeoff.
