Finnish rental crane and aerial lift rental company Powerlift, has taken delivery of 60 new Dingli low or zero emission booms and scissor lifts.
The delivery is topped by the 112ft BA36ERT all-electric Rough Terrain articulated boom lift, which offers a working height of 36.2 metres, with a maximum outreach of 21.3 metres, an up & over height of 15.75 metres and a platform capacity of 272kg. Power comes from an advanced lithium-ion battery pack.

Powerlift has been running one of these big electric boom lifts on an evaluation basis over the winter and is clearly happy enough with its performance and customer acceptance to order more of them.

The new machines were supplied through local distributor Simeri and is the largest single order in the company’s history, with a value of just over €2 million. It takes the number of new machines, including platforms and spider cranes purchased by Powerlift in the past 12 months, to almost 100 as it expands and updates its fleet.

Powerlift chief executive Nelli Nordström said: “It is great that we have been able to invest so significantly in renewing and expanding our fleet. We make purchases primarily based on our customers’ needs. The goal is to ensure good availability of the fleet and service reliability also in the future.”
“Dingli is a relatively new brand in our fleet, but the machines already delivered have been very well received by both our customers and Powerlift employees, thus the decision to buy more of them”
Simeri chief operating officer Tommi Kolehmainen added: “It is great to see that Powerlift is investing in modern, low-emission and, above all, safe equipment. Regardless of the manufacturer, the new lifts. Dingli’s wide range of fully electric lifts offered the customer the opportunity to choose from low-emission Stage V diesels as well as emission-free options, which made up much of the delivery.
“Customers are increasingly demanding environmentally friendly and quiet equipment, especially indoors and in urban areas. Powerlift’s decision to also invest in electric Dingli lifts demonstrates a pioneering spirit that directly meets the needs of future construction.”
Powerlift was established in 2018 and is based in Espoo on the northwest side of Helsinki, its fleet includes booms and scissors from Genie, JLG and Haulotte, glass handling equipment, an extensive spider crane fleet which includes units from Maeda, Jekko and Hoeflon along with mast lifts and mast booms. Its fleet now comfortably exceeds 300 units supported by 33 employees.
