DSV has launched a new weekly freight service from Luxembourg to Chicago Rockford International Airport.
The Denmark-headquartered forwarder also added weekly flights to Rockford from Shanghai Pudong International Airport through its Shanghai Star Air Freight Charter programme in November 2025, providing onward access to markets across North, Central and South America.
Stefan Krikken, head of airfreight – global at DSV, noted: “The success of our Shanghai operation highlighted the strategic value of Rockford, and we have plans to further benefit from the airport’s flexibility, fast transit times and dependable access to key markets.”
Those plans include the introduction of a new service linking Seoul Incheon International Airport with the Chicago gateway later this year.
In recent months, Rockford has also seen the addition of a new CEVA Logistics charter programme connecting Hanoi with Chicago and the launch of Kuehne+Nagel services from Frankfurt.
