A new air module connects Parrot’s ANAFI UKR micro-UAV to Elistair’s Safe-T and Ligh-T tether stations, enabling hours of uninterrupted flight for ISR missions.
Elistair unveiled a new tethered air module for the Parrot ANAFI UKR micro-UAV on October 21, 2026. The module works with Elistair’s Safe-T and Ligh-T tether stations and allows hours of uninterrupted flight. Elistair, based in Lyon, France, designed the system for defense, public safety and critical infrastructure operators who need a continuous aerial view with a minimal logistical footprint.
The ANAFI UKR paired with an Elistair station forms a complete tethered intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) solution. Target missions include force protection, perimeter and border surveillance, event security and response support. Parrot introduced the ANAFI UKR at the 2025 Paris Air Show.
How the ANAFI UKR tethered module works
The dedicated air module links the ANAFI UKR to an Elistair tethered station through a micro-tether that supplies continuous power. As a result, the drone can provide hours of persistent overwatch without landing to swap batteries. According to Elistair, the system is ready to fly in under two minutes and remains portable and simple to deploy in the field.
“With this new solution, we bring the endurance of tethered operations to a drone that our defense and public safety customers already trust,” said Guilhem de Marliave, chief executive of Elistair.
Parrot framed the integration as an expansion of the platform’s existing role. “At Parrot, we are committed to providing defense, public safety and critical infrastructure operators with resilient, field-proven aerial solutions that meet the demands of real-world missions. Elistair’s new tethered solution expands the operational capabilities of the ANAFI UKR by enabling persistent aerial surveillance while preserving the portability, ease of deployment and secure architecture our customers rely on. This collaboration illustrates the strength of our ecosystem and our shared commitment to delivering mission-critical intelligence when and where it matters most,” said Chris Roberts, senior vice president and chief revenue officer of Parrot.
Elistair’s tethered drone track record
Security forces have deployed more than 2,000 Elistair tethered stations worldwide, and the company draws on more than 10 years of field experience. Its products serve armed forces, law enforcement, civil security agencies and private security companies in more than 70 countries. Elistair operates from France and North Carolina. Earlier this year, the company also partnered with Exail to bring tethered drone maritime surveillance to autonomous vessels.
Parrot, headquartered in Paris, develops its ANAFI range of micro-UAVs in Europe and manufactures them in the United States and South Korea. The company also owns Pix4D, the photogrammetry and geospatial software developer.
Orders for the new module are now open.
