For flyExclusive, the most important number this quarter may not be revenue. It may be three consecutive quarters of positive adjusted EBITDA, showing how operational improvements can turn into earnings. More output from fewer aircraft The private jet company reported revenue of $111.1 million, up 22% compared to the second quarter in 2025. It also generated $4.2 million in adjusted EBITDA, marking its third consecutive quarter of positive adjusted EBITDA and a significant improvement from the prior year’s loss. flyExclusive also guided an adjusted EBITDA of $5 million to $7 million in the third quarter. This growth was achieved with 6% fewer aircraft in its fleet than it was last year. Flight hours reportedly increased by 8% and fleet utilization increased by 14%. Dispatch availability rose over 1,000 basis points year over year, to 57.6%, and gross margin expanded to 20.4%. The margin math behind a smaller fleet In aviation services, utilization is one of the strongest profitability data points even if growth has historically focused on fleet size. flyExclusive’s back to basics approach with an emphasis on productivity, margins, utilization, dispatch reliability and operating leverage appears to be paying off. The long-term test will be whether utilization gains continue to support profitability growth without requiring significant fleet expansion. The Q3 guidance of $5 million to $7 million suggests that management expects the efficiency curve to keep going this way. Whether efficient utilization can support the next quarter without any new aircraft is what the industry should watch, not revenue.
