Brazilian retail company Havan has placed an order with Leonardo for an AW169 in the Agusta corporate configuration, the company already has another AW169 in operation which it took delivery of in late 2025. The latest aircraft is expected to be delivered at the end of 2028.
Havan is a long standing customer of the OEM having operated several AW109s over the years which, Havan says, have been instrumental in the growth of the company’s retail network ‘enabling rapid access to locations and in business management’.
Leonardo says the this latest order underlines the the success of the AW169 in Latin America where 30 examples of the type have flying with customers, the bulk of whom are in Brazil, but with Argentinian, and Uruguayan customers also in the mix. The aircraft are employed in a variety of roles including law enforcement, firefighting, and rescue duties. Thought the bulk of the existing fleet 18 with four more due for delivery this year are in the corporate role.
