Night vision solutions specialist Aviation Specialties Unlimited (ASU) has today announced the appointment of Jakub Dryska as the company’s new Territory Manager for Europe and Africa.
Dryska replaces Alexander Emmel, who was recently promoted to ASU’s Director of International Sales.
Emmel said: “Jakub brings with him more than a decade of international aviation experience. He is well known and respected in the industry and throughout Europe.”
In his new role, Dryska will assist with international sales and business development. Prior to joining ASU, he spent his career with AIR TEAM in the Czech Republic, where he progressed through several commercial leadership roles, including PART 145 Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, and, most recently, Director of Key Accounts.
Dryska (pictured) is from the Czech Republic and will operate from an office within the CET time zone.
He said: “Throughout my career, I have focused on developing long-term relationships with commercial, government, and defense aviation customers across Europe. My experience includes aircraft modernisation projects, special mission aviation programs, NVG cockpit modifications, and managing complex business-to-business and business-to-government sales opportunities. I have also worked extensively with government tenders, NATO-related projects, and export compliance requirements, including ITAR training completed through the US Embassy in Prague. I have built a strong professional network throughout Europe and look forward to expanding ASU’s presence across Europe and Africa.”
Emmel added: “Because of his background, training, and experience in the Czech Republic, Jakub will be able to serve our customers in Europe and Africa with a depth of knowledge that is needed. We look forward to expanding our capabilities throughout Europe and Africa.”
Emmel and Dryska will be attending the upcoming MSPO Defense Industry Exhibition in Kielce, Poland, from September 8 to 11, where ASU’s stand number is 6-C01.
