Leonardo and FlightSafety International (FSI) are going to co-develop and establish the first AW189 Level D Full-Flight Simulator in the Americas, and to create a training collaboration for AW189 initial, recurrent, and specialty training in Louisiana.
Two entities first joined forces several years ago with the AW139, and then formed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in 2024 for the AW189 FFS.
Currently, over 170 AW189s have been ordered to date, and the type is delivered with a comprehensive support and training service package.
