Cargo handler Menzies Aviation is adding a new payment capability to its customer portal through a partnership with PayCargo.
The new Quick Pay capability is available on the Menzies Aviation Cargo Handling (MACH) portal, with the company hoping it will simplify payments and speed up the release of cargo.
Through the new service, customers will be able to view charges linked to an Air Waybill (AWB) and complete payment through PayCargo, either using an existing account or guest checkout.
Historically, cargo payment workflows have often involved manual processes and account setup requirements that can delay cargo release, Menzies claimed.
“The new capability reduces the need for manual payment steps or account setup requirements, helping customers complete payments quickly and improving efficiency at one of the most time-sensitive stages of the air cargo journey,” Menzies said.
Rory Fidler, senior vice president of cargo technology, Menzies Aviation, said: “The launch of Quick Pay is an important step in the evolution of the MACH customer portal and supports our wider digital transformation journey.
“By working with PayCargo, we are making it quicker and easier for customers to complete payments, helping reduce friction, improve visibility and keep cargo moving.”
Eduardo Del Riego, global chief executive of PayCargo, added: “Speed and certainty are critical in air cargo, and payments should never be the reason cargo is delayed.”
In addition to enabling payments, the MACH portal allows customers to track shipments using an AWB reference and access information about Menzies Aviation’s global cargo network.
Since its launch in 2023, MACH has been deployed across 49 airports and has processed more than 1.6 million air waybills, Menzies said in a press release.
As the platform continues to evolve, Menzies Aviation will introduce additional capabilities designed to simplify the customer experience, improve visibility and support more efficient cargo operations across its global network.
PayCargo has been integrating its payment system with several cargo portals and systems in recent years.
Late last year, the company rolled out its integration with the IBS Software system.
It also formed a similar link with Emirates SkyCargo earlier in 2025 and Nallian and Cathay Cargo Terminal in 2024.
