Two island carriers – Air Caraïbes based in Guadeloupe and Atlantic Airways based in the Faroe Islands – have selected Moment to provide inflight entertainment (IFE) for aircraft serving their regional and island networks. The service is now live on eight aircraft: four ATR 72s operated by Air Caraïbes and four Airbus A320s operated by Atlantic Airways.
Air Caraïbes’ ATR 72 aircraft had no IFE before this deployment. Moment’s Flymingo Box, which will run in a battery-powered configuration suitable for short-haul, high-frequency operations, is a portable server that streams entertainment to passengers’ own devices.
On Atlantic Airways’ A320 fleet, the Flymingo Box runs in an aircraft-powered configuration. It is combined with Moment’s Mood platform, which brings entertainment, services and passenger engagement into one onboard digital environment. Passengers can access the service as Atlantic Connect.
Both airlines offer IFE content libraries designed for internationally diverse audiences. Languages follow each route network. Air Caraïbes offers IFE content in English and French, while Atlantic Airways has content in English, French, German, Spanish and Faroese, in line with its European reach.
The catalogues combine films, series, kids’ content, podcasts, games and digital press, with international titles for both business and family travellers.
“These partnerships underscore our ability to operate in complex environments while providing flexible entertainment solutions tailored to the realities of regional and island networks,” stated Tanguy Morel, CEO and co-founder of Moment.
