Sekisui Kydex, the manufacturer and supplier of Kydex and Allen thermoplastic materials, has appointed Marty Miller as its new president and chief operating officer (CCO), effective 1st November, 2026. Sekisui Kydex is a major supplier of thermoplastics for aircraft cabin interior applications.
Marty Miller joined Sekisui Kydex over three years ago as the senior VP of operations. During those three years Miller has overseen IT and automation, innovation, and production across three Sekisui Kydex facilities, while also leading supply chain, environmental health and safety (EHS), continuous improvement, and maintenance.
Prior to joining Sekisui Kydex, Miller gained more than 30 years of manufacturing experience, latterly serving as chief operating officer (CCO) at Accupac in Mainland, Pennsylvania (a manufacturer of products for beauty, personal care and healthcare brands). This experience has provided him with expertise in operational leadership and organisational improvement.
Miller has spent his career helping teams and individuals identify and resolve the real issues they face, and then making improvements aimed at simplifying tasks, eliminating wasted effort, and ultimately making the job more satisfying and more profitable.
When Miller first joined Sekisui Kydex, he shared a leadership philosophy that continues to guide his approach today: “Recognising the value that every team member brings to the job every day and tapping into their unique capabilities and insight unleashes an amazing force for improvement.”

A new CEO
In other people moves at the company, Yoshio Aoshima, executive officer of the Sekisui High Performance Plastics Company and head of its Mobility business, will become chief executive officer (CEO), providing strategic leadership for Sekisui Kydex from Japan.
The current president and CEO, Yoritaka “Taka” Yamauchi, has accepted a new position within the Sekisui Chemical Group. As part of Sekisui Chemical’s longstanding approach to leadership development, employees can serve in different roles and businesses across the organisation throughout their careers.
Yamauchi’s new assignment reflects this practice and the Group’s commitment to developing leaders with broad experience across their businesses. He will continue supporting Sekisui Kydex to help ensure a smooth leadership transition.
Since becoming president and CEO of Sekisui Kydex in 2022, Yamauchi has led Sekisui Kydex through a period of recovery, renewal, and transformation. His steady leadership was especially important as the business emerged from the Covid-19 pandemic and navigated supply chain disruption, labour constraints, inflationary pressure, and rapidly changing customer needs.
Marty Miller said of the change, “Taka has led Sekisui Kydex with purpose, care, and a steady commitment to our shared mission, vision, and values. I’m honoured to continue that journey, and excited for what we can accomplish together as we stay focused, execute with discipline, and keep strengthening the connection between our people, our customers, and our future.”
