Dubai-based cargo airline SolitAir has launched operations in Uzbekistan with the addition of Tashkent International Airport and Navoiy International Airport to its network.
The new flights between SolitAir’s hub at Al Maktoum International Airport (Dubai World Central) and Uzbekistan will help serve demand for perishables and strengthen the airline’s coverage of the Central Asian region, alongside its established routes to Bishkek in Kyrgyzstan and Almaty and Astana in Kazakhstan, said SolitAir.
Air transport operators handled 57,200 tonnes of cargo across Uzbekistan during the first half of 2026, underscoring the country’s growing position as Central Asia’s leading air cargo market, said SolitAir.
Freight volumes are being driven primarily by major infrastructure investments and shifting regional trade patterns, added the airline.

The addition of the routes in Uzbekistan brings SolitAir’s total network to more than 60 destinations across more than 40 countries and three continents – Asia, Africa and Europe.
SolitAir operates a fleet of seven 737-800 Boeing Converted Freighters, each with 20-tonne cargo capacity.
The airline is targeting a 20-aircraft fleet by the end of 2027.
The airline holds a UAE GCAA Air Operator’s Certificate, EASA Third Country Operator (TCO) authorisation, ACC3 designation from the Belgian Civil Aviation Authority, and UK CAA TCO certification.
