SPAES, a provider of mission equipment and medical systems and services, has secured an EASA Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for the installation of a swivelling co-pilot seat for the Airbus H135.
The seat offers increased flexibility and better workflow within the cabin during ilot transfer missions, enabling the co-pilot to reposition their seat within a few steps: slide the seat toward the cabin along the rail system, rotate the seat by 180 degrees, and then lock the seat at both end of the rail.
“This project highlights our ability to develop targeted solutions that fit the specific needs of our customers, even for small-scale modifications,” said SPAES CEO Joachim Schanz. “Through close coordination with the operator and local teams, we ensured a smooth installation process and full compliance with certification standards.”
