Stark Future’s first street-legal electric motorcycle is getting the exclusive treatment.
The Spanish brand has just unveiled a limited-edition version of the Varg SM called the Sköll. The company’s latest release isn’t just scarcer than the model it’s based on, though. It’s also lighter than the speedy two-wheeler.
The Sköll is named after the giant wolf who relentlessly chases the sun across the sky in Norse mythology. As such, it’s little surprise that Stark has chosen to give the variant a sinister makeover. Now, almost the entire bike sports an all-black look. The bike’s gold KYB fork and chain may have been left untouched, but Gear Patrol notes that nearly everything else, from the switchgear to the swingarm, has been anodized, powder-coated, and dipped in black. The result is an e-moto guaranteed to turn heads as it zips around town.

But the Sköll is more than just an appearance package. Stark also made a number of adjustments to shed any unnecessary weight. Parts like the pedals and bolt kits were swapped out for titanium replacements. Thanks to this, the variant tips the scale just 272 pounds, or 2.4 pounds lighter than the standard Varg SM. That difference may not sound like much, but every ounce matters when it comes to performance.
And there’s no way around it: the Varg SM Sköll is a true high-performance electric motorcycle. The two-wheeler is powered by the company’s top-of-the-line Alpha drivetrain, which includes a 360-volt carbon-housed motor and a 7.2 kWh battery pack. The setup combines to make 80 hp and 674 ft lbs of torque. It also offers dynamic traction control. Stark hasn’t released performance specs, but it should be at least as fast as the regular Varg SM, which can reach a top speed of 96 mph. Range, meanwhile, is 113 for urban use, 73 miles for suburban use, and 50 miles for combined use.

Other features include a fully adjustable suspension, Brembo brakes, and a 3.3 kW portable charger. The last accessory can fully charge the e-moto’s battery in two to three-and-a-half hours.
Stark is taking orders for the Varg SM Sköll now through its website. The two-wheeler is limited to just 500 examples and starts at $14,990.
