Vertical Aviation International (VAI) has made several appointments to optimise the execution of goals and realign the organisation.
Firstly, Cade Clark has been appointed as executive vice president of VAI, working directly under François Lassale, president and CEO. In the role he will be responsible for VAI’s government affairs, membership and industry engagement, conventions and events, education, data programmes, and future technologies. Clark has nine years of experience at VAI and recently served as chief government affairs officer.
Sarah Arnold has also been appointed as VAI chief of staff and will also continue in her current role as corporate secretary for the VAI Board of Directors. Arnold has worked at the association since 2018 with roles including executive assistant to the president and CEO, director of corporate affairs, and interim senior executive administrator. With her new duties, she will lead the president/CEO office and oversee the organisation’s workflow.
“VAI is moving into a phase where clarity in leadership and ownership of outcomes matters,” said Lassale. “These updates give us a structure built for execution, with defined authority, tighter coordination, and a senior team positioned to deliver. These roles are designed to work as a single operating system. Cade drives external engagement and strategic outcomes; Sarah drives internal alignment and execution. Together, they reinforce accountability and ensure we deliver for members.”
Additionally, Theresa Marr has been promoted to senior director for government affairs, while Emily Moynihan has been promoted to assistant director, exhibits and experience.
