How many of these have you practiced in the last year?
1) Test Your Go/No-Go Decision Making
Making a good go/no-go decision can be challenging, especially if you have external pressures. Before you face one of these scenarios, refresh yourself on the decision-making process and what your personal limitations are.
2) Practice Emergency Memory Items
Whether you’re sitting at home or sitting in the left seat, testing yourself on emergency memory items is a great way to stay sharp.
3) Partial-Panel Flying
When was the last time you practiced partial-panel flying? Knock the rust off by practicing with a flight instructor or safety pilot.
4) Review VFR Weather Minimums
What are the legal minimums, and what are your personal minimums? You should have a solid understanding of both before your next flight.

5) Practice A Go-Around
If you’re flying with an instructor, have them call for a surprise go-around at some point during your flight. If you’re flying alone, practice a few on your next flight.
