Florida Man Convicted of Smuggling $900K in Aircraft Parts to Russia

A 62-year-old Florida resident and Russian national accused of illegally exporting aircraft parts from the U.S. to his home country has been convicted on all counts.

According to a media release from the FBI, Alexander Mamonov was convicted August 27 following a jury trial related to a scheme to illegally export aircraft parts from the U.S. to supply PJSC Aeroflot, the state-owned Russian airline.
