King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah has received two accreditations from Airports Council International (ACI World), presented at the ACI World Airport Experience Summit 2026 in Istanbul, Turkey.
Jeddah Airports CEO Mazen bin Mohammed Johar accepted the Airport Customer Experience Accreditation – Level 4 certificate. According to Jeddah Airports, the airport is now one of only 12 airports worldwide to reach that level under the ACI program.
The Level 4 accreditation followed an assessment by ACI World across eight areas: customer understanding, customer experience strategy, measurement, operational improvement, governance, airport culture, service design and innovation, and airport community collaboration.
During the summit, the airport also received ACI’s Public Health & Safety Readiness (PHSR) Accreditation, which recognizes an airport’s readiness in public health and safety in line with internationally recognized standards.
Johar said reaching Level 4 marks an important milestone in the ongoing development of passenger experience at the airport.
“This achievement reflects the collective efforts of our teams at Jeddah Airports and our partners across the airport community,” he commented. “It reinforces our commitment to placing passengers at the heart of our operations and decisions. We will continue to enhance our services and adopt innovative solutions that strengthen King Abdulaziz International Airport’s position as one of the Kingdom’s key gateways to the world.”
ACI World’s Airport Customer Experience Accreditation program evaluates airports’ maturity in customer experience management across five levels, using a defined assessment framework.
