NHV Group have appointed Jesper Schmidt-Hansen as Managing Director for NHV A/S which operates the company’s operations at its Den Helder and Esbjerg Bases.
Schmidt-Hansen has more than 25 years of experience across the aviation industry, with a career spanning aircraft maintenance, offshore helicopter operations, flight safety, regulatory compliance, and aviation governance. Having progressed from aircraft maintenance engineer to offshore pilot, Captain, Flight Safety Officer, and Senior Aviation Specialist, he combines deep operational expertise with strategic leadership and a strong commitment to safety and excellence.
Throughout his career, JSchmidt-Hansen has held key positions with organizations including SAS, CHC Helicopter, Bel Air Aviation, Maersk Oil, Total, and most recently Vestas, where he served as Senior Aviation Specialist. His extensive experience in aviation regulation, auditing, operational oversight, and safety management makes him exceptionally well positioned to lead NHV A/S into its next chapter.
