Emirates announced on October 14, 2026, that it has opened a new travel store in Tokyo’s Otemachi business district, expanding its retail presence in Japan as it prepares to add more flights to the country.
The Tokyo store follows the opening of the Emirates Travel Store in Osaka in July 2025.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by Shihab Ahmed Al Faheem, the UAE’s ambassador to Japan; Orhan Abbas, Emirates’ senior vice president of commercial operations for the Far East; Satish Sethi, the airline’s country manager for Japan; and Tetsuya Mori, director of the International Air Transport Division at the Japan Civil Aviation Bureau, as well as members of the local travel trade and media.
Otemachi store offers bookings, travel planning and a Boeing 777 Business Class seat on display
The store is staffed by multilingual travel consultants who serve both Japanese and international customers. They can assist with flight bookings, travel information and tailored itineraries.
The space also includes a self-service kiosk, a queue management system and a selfie mirror with backdrops of destinations in Emirates’ network. A Business Class seat from the airline’s Boeing 777 is on display for customers to try.
The store is located on the first floor of Otemachi One, 1-2-1 Otemachi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo. It is open Monday to Friday from 11:00-19:00 local time and closed on weekends and public holidays.
Additional Narita brings Emirates to 28 weekly services in Japan
Emirates currently flies from Dubai International Airport (DXB) to three Japanese airports: Narita International Airport (NRT) and Tokyo International Airport (HND), also known as Haneda, in the Tokyo area, and Kansai International Airport (KIX) in Osaka.
From October 26, 2026, the airline will add more flights to Narita, bringing its total passenger services to and from Japan to 28 per week. The additional flights will be operated by a Boeing 777-300ER, adding more than 300 seats in each direction and 20 metric tons of cargo capacity per day.
Emirates said the expansion is intended to meet growing demand for travel to Japan while giving travelers departing from Japan more options.
