Spectrum Aeromed has announced the addition of William “Bill” Engelking and Carson Tveito to its engineering team, strengthening the company’s technical capabilities as it continues to support a growing range of aircraft platforms and customer programmes.
Engelking joins Spectrum Aeromed with more than 13 years of aircraft engineering experience, most recently serving as a Staff Powerplant Systems Engineer at Cirrus Aircraft. His background includes aircraft systems integration, certification and compliance, flight testing, engineering analysis, and technical documentation.
At Spectrum Aeromed, which specialises in customised air medical interior solutions, he will support the design and development of air medical equipment, including 3D modelling, engineering drawings, structural analysis, and documentation supporting FAA certification.
Tveito’s transition to a full-time engineering position continues a path that began with Spectrum Aeromed in May 2024 as a production intern. He later transitioned into a manufacturing engineering internship, followed by a mechanical engineering internship, becoming the first Spectrum Aeromed engineering student to gain experience in all three internship roles. Tveito will graduate from North Dakota State University in December 2026 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and will join Spectrum Aeromed full-time as an engineer following graduation.
Shannon Schell, President of Spectrum Aeromed, said: “Bill and Carson bring two different but equally valuable perspectives to our engineering team. Bill brings extensive aircraft certification and systems experience, while Carson has developed a strong understanding of our products and processes through his progression at Spectrum. We’re excited to have both contributing to our continued growth.”
